Your Day 9 practice is a heart-centering practice. The journey progresses as we continue to add fresh vocabulary to our asana (physical poses) and breath, as well as go deeper into the philosophy of yoga. In this session, we consider the mat and our daily practice as a safe place to merge the conscious with the unconscious.

This yoga practice is one that invites you to move from the energy center of the heart.

i fell behind a few days after travelling to see friends, and found it very hard to convince myself to come back to the mat today and pick up where i left off. i did it anyway, and i loved it. i’m looking forward to doing day 10 tomorrow 🙂

Today was a very special day for me to do this heart practice since my heart was actually hurting, today is my dad’s birthday, and he just passed away a couple of months ago, Thank you for this practice Adriene, it really made me feel better❤️

I just couldn’t get into it today. My mind just kept wandering to my belly getting in the way, and not being able to connect to my core and pull it in. My chest being too tight and too big, My big short stupid legs, wouldn’t let my legs do the bind So many negative thoughts i just couldn’t find peaceful positive thoughts. Heres to hoping tomorrows session will bring some mind body connection.

I got COVID the day this was released, so I took a few days off to adjust, but I’m back! I was shaky with some poses, but I definitely enjoyed this. To whoever’s reading this: keep going, you got this, I believe in you. ❤️

My heels touched the ground in downward dog!!! First time! Wow! 🎉🎉🎉
Seven years ago I discovered Adrienne when I needed a cheap option to rehab an injured foot/ankle because I didn’t have insurance. After doing yoga on and off all these years I’ve finally experienced the glorious sensation of my entire foot touching the mat in downward dog (I loathe downward dog lol). I’m so pumped.

Today 14th January 2022.I can understand the feeling of not belonging or not fitting in, therefore finding our center or core is essential. I did practice today 3 core sessions, 7,8 &9.Melt and corazón were more according to what I was looking for now.

I've just moved back into university – my final move in before I graduate in a few months. Being with my family for the past month abroad, I've been trying to ease back into the darkness and quietude of my dorm room in the UK. The mantra 'I am safe' was so timely, making this room seem more like home with your voice echoing in it. As always, your practices give me so much love and support to carry myself through the day. Adriene this is such a powerful series… It looks like it matches ideally my needs. Yesterday I had this huge emotional breakdown at the end of Melt and today I rose back up in this amazing Corazón… 🙏✨🌹❤️ This is so so special. I broke my collarbone while cycling a year ago and since have had two surgeries, and a year of physical therapy. I had a really dark period where I realized how much your life changes when you can’t do basic things for yourself. I felt so alone and weak. I felt like I had no value as a person. This past year has been spiritually and mentally transformational because I’ve learned that my value as a human being doesn’t come from how much I can do. But I cried after this practice because I felt safe. I felt strong. There was a time where I couldn’t even bathe myself, and now I can do complicated yoga poses. I can’t believe I’ve come this far in a year.

Thank you for these practices Adrienne. You are helping me grow in so many ways.

I am still here. I cannot believe that I had enough discipline to start again. I had been a bit sickly and keep falling asleep as soon as I am home from work, but now that I am a little better I wanted to start again. It is crazy what the mind can make you do, if you set it to really do something. I am a little proud to be back. Day 9 is done. Thank you for your awesome Journey.
