Love your videos, thank you for all the inspiration
Hi Katie,
I need some advice and weight loss tips. I'm trying to lose 53 pounds. What can I do for exercise besides my indoor bike and fitness videos? I gained a couple pounds recently.
I was overweight as a child I turned to food to cope with the trauma of being sexually abused but when I was 14 years old I decided to face what happened to me and make a change I don't remember how much I weight at the time but I do remember I was a size 20 I have managed to stay skinny after all these years I'm now a size 7 and 32 years old
Hello Katie, my biggest issue is staying consistent, I need a fitness tracker of some sort.
Hello Katie, wow are our stories very similar! I'm currently at 190Ibs and working to lose 45Ibs. I also had a lot of trouble maintaining long workouts, my biggest problem being I never worked out, lifted or exercised much as a kid. I had to research so much just to figure out what types of lifting and exercise to begin with! Starting, I began with 15 mins a day, and slowly I've been working up to longer sessions; currently I do a 25 minute work out 5 days a week. I began in December at 217Ibs I'm very happy to see the progress i've made! A big motivator for me is watching others weight loss journeys, the before and after pictures give me so much hope and confidence! I remind myself everyday its all about my health, and its helped me love and respect my body so much more! Thank you for this great video <3
I love that you said to start with shorter workouts for sustainability because that is what you gave to me at the beginning of my journey (4 years ago now woah). Sleep was so important to me I only felt I could sacrifice 5 min a morning to get up earlier. So I did all your 5 min workouts over and over until I felt I could do 10 min. The slow progression and taking the pressure off to do so much before I was ready, made it easier to make this a lifestyle and not a yo yo diet workout. Thank you for you 5 min videos! They are exactly what a beginner needs. Your 5 min workouts changed my life!
Good morning Katie i really really just love you so very very much Cause you are such a beautiful amazing gorgeous woman in the world.
Do you have a video on how I many calories/protein/fat/carbs I need in a day?
Struggling so hard with not caving for treats and over eating 😩🫠
when I was at my worst (extremely problematic drinking/ED/overweight/self hating/total mess) me and some of my real close friends drifted apart, we never stopped having love for each other though, but they couldn’t be around me at that time and I retraced from them because I agreed! I was a mess! , where as the friends that stayed I eventually had to phase out once I started taking control of my life, I just couldn’t do it anymore, I wish the best for them but it just wasn’t working out. the thing is if 10 years ago you told me I cut those people off I would have been devastated, but in reality leaving those friendships in the past- it’s freedom , freedom to grow without explanation
I am currently working on my weight loss journey. I have tried in the past and promised to do it and broke those promises. Unfortunately, I have mold toxicity and Lyme disease that hinder my journey. It’s also extremely expensive to get tested and work with a physician who can cure this. However, I’m determined without the costly care. Day three and I’m doing GREAT! Thanks for the share. Always look forward to a dose of inspiration from you. ☀️
Good morning Katie! I often find myself wishing I could lose weight (I’m 5’ 9” and I used to weight roughly 145 pounds, I currently weigh 183 pounds) I look at myself in the mirror and I’m not happy with what I see and the way it makes me feel. I have never been able to keep to a diet or consistently work out. I feel like I need a person to help motivate me to stay consistent and help me to achieve my fitness goal! I also have a thyroid condition ( I was diagnosed with Hashimoto Disease) and although I take my thyroid medication every day I often feel tired and burnt out. I downloaded your move app and wanted to join using the promotion you had going that gives you the first three months free that started on the 20th of this month but I was having trouble getting that promotion to work for me. I also would love to try all of your protein powders but unfortunately I’m on a tight budget and am unable to afford them. Everything you do truly inspires me to be better and I am so thankful that you’ve put so much time and effort into researching formulas and ingredients to put into your protein powders as well as your workouts to help so many women across the world achieve their fitness goals!
Ive been following you for a year now, and I’ve managed to lose 50lbs with pcos and hypothyroidism, I just want to say that I’ve seen 100s of videos and you are the very few that are informative and super helpful and say every detail, you are amazing and I’m thankful for your channel.
I love the one about relationships changing and your perspective on it!!!
Hi Katie! Question. Do you have any certifications? Nutrition? Fitness? Thank you!
I’m 15 and was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I weigh at least 50 lbs more than anybody in my class. For my entire life, I’ve eaten really well and working out everyday and play volleyball. I just can’t seem to lose weight no matter what I do. Is there anything that you think could help me.
My diet!! I’m such a picky eater so I never know what to eat and nothing taste good. I know that sounds horrible, but that’s my biggest struggle
I love this video !!! It’s so good . Katie your hair looks beautiful and so healthy!!!
Hi Katie! Thanks for the video. These are simple things that I can do but still struggle with. I consistently sleep less than 6 hours trying to balance work and school. I've always thought I needed to do super long workouts to see the weight loss results. I'm definitely going to start by adding these 2 tips to my routine as best as I can.
I’ve always been a little chubby growing up but not until I started cooking for my self is when my weight spired I would binge eat while eating 3 large meals I knew I was gaining weight which made me avoid the weight scale. Up until I had a check up at the doctors is when I saw my weight. at my heaviest weight, I weighed 151 ib. At the time I was 5,1 and 14 years old it’s been around 7 months since then and I lost 20 on just dieting and still continuing my weight loss journey. Right now im starting with short workouts till I make a habit of them then I’ll do longer workouts.
I am trying to get motivated to just start.
I’m struggling with finding the energy to workout with a toddler.
I am struggling with belly bloat like never before. Currently doing SSD and I am excited for the end results! After week 1, I am feeling great. Thank you so much for always sharing and all the inspiration ! 💕
This was a great video. Thank you for being so open and honest. This is the best advice.
i needed this video SO much, Katie. Thank you ❤❤❤❤
I love this! I’m two weeks postpartum and I want to just start feeling healthy again. Of course I have a major lack of sleep right now, so those hunger hormones are attacking me and I am having a hard time curbing my sweet cravings right now! I joined the spring slim down but since I didn’t get the clearance to workout yet, I’m mostly joining for the motivation for now and then I will absolutely have to join the next challenge for sure if you have one right after it! ❤🥰
My things is I always tell myself every New Year that I’m going to go to the gym and get fit I’ve probably told myself that for the last 5 years this year I’ve actually been doing it going to the gym 2-3 times a week since December but I feel like I’m seeing no results losing weight I feel like I’m going in the opposite direction and gaining weight. I feel so discouraged and i feel like I’m doing something wrong. I’m going to keep sticking to it because I desperately want to see those results but it’s so damn hard. 😭
I’m so happy you’re where you’re at with your fitness journey and you’re at peace with your body💕.
I’m still “a fat girl” and I FULLY EMBRACE IT 🥰. I treat my body well & love this body at any size. And this body loves me back.
With the LSF community I’ve learned to love & care for my body through fitness and I’m so thankful for that.💕
Thanks for sharing this. I'm restarting my journey to a healthier lifestyle and I really appreciate all these, but especially the tip about losing weight not "automatically" meanung increased confidence… gives me a lot to think about and reflect on!
Katie, your hair looks gorgeous! Have you been doing anything new?
I eat whole foods, cooking everything from scratch, I have no motivation problems around my exercise routine, but I just struggle terribly with portion sizes/control. Any suggestions would be helpful🥰
